Donnie, I'm always gonna need you, you're my brother. [He emphasizes this very firmly.] It's not about... what you can do for me or whatever- I always need you.

You don't have to just be the inventions or genius guy. You can just be and I'll be here for you.

[He's about to argue that it is not useless, he is not distracted but well... The fact he doesn't remember why he got so mad at Leo to smother his twin still remains. So he's silent for a moment or two before he does actually say something.]

Maybe I should look into ending this soon. The slime thing.

[Leo sighs softly. He awkwardly settles himself back in his bed, trying to keep from jostling his ice pack off his wrist.]

It wouldn't be a bad idea, Dee. Only if you wanna. I don't hate you being a slime or anything, I'm just frustrated that we can't- quite work together super well like this?

I'm used to our usual, you know? You getting all cranky about help, but usually not needing it. Now you need a little more than before. [If he didn't love his brother, he wouldn't be trying for something more gentle phrasing wise. He already knows Donnie feels bad about the slime thing, Leo isn't going to add to it.]

Donnie, sometimes you need to adjust cause stuff happens.

Remember how you guys adjusted when I was like a spider? You had to keep me from reorganizing everything constantly. It didn't always work, but you and Bucky made sure I was supported.

Fussy is not even the right word for it, Dee. I was on the edge of reorganizing the entire household semi-regularly. You two kept me from going crazy. [He points that out plainly enough, wishing he could actually point to make it more obvious.]

If you say so. [Donnie was aware of Leo's spider habits and helped keep them in check, yes. He just isn't aware of how that truly affected his twin.]

I know so. Given y'know, I kept cleaning your stuff and you kept wanting to strangle me, but refrained. [For the most part.]

[Leo sticks out his tongue in turn.] Haha, I win. You lose, get emotion'd nerd.

The system seems a little flawed, clearly, I had to correct it. [He says this, yet he hasn't meddled with Donnie's system since. Not beyond moving his snacks around.]

It is not flawed, it's mathematically sound. [Yes, Donnie's method of organization is based solely on math. What of it?]

[The fact they can tease each other like this after a fight does make Leo feel better. He sighs contentedly as he lays back a bit more.]

You know, that... I'm serious though, right? That, I didn't mind making accommodations for you, like you and Bucky did for me.

The slime stuff has only been bad when you're angry, beyond that, if you like the form, I won't rush you out of it, Dee.

I... Yeah I know you are. [He doesn't add that it's easy to tell when Leo is serious because of how rare it sometimes seems to be, now is not the time for comments like that.]

And I don't know. It's kind of not fully to my liking but I've learned some stuff too, you know? [As in, Leo shouldn't have to worry about Donnie deciding to be a perma-slime. He's going to leave that to Ray.]

Yeah, I getcha, Dee. [He adjusts his wrist under the ice pack they're pinned under.]

If you can end the slime stuff early, go for it. No idea if you can escape that stuff early, I kinda was just all spider until I wasn't.

Once again a tragedy we can't just google it to find out. [He muses with a yawn and slow stretch.] Too bad you can't go back to Mana to say 'I'm done now!'
