[Pardon, it takes him a moment to even recall what she's talking about and looking at old posts to jog his slime memory.]

[Rachel had been reluctant to move, after the removal, but even if blood and pain aren't unusual in La Forteresse, the naphil figures it's better to get out sooner rather than later. Even with all the lights she'd set up beforehand, things always seemed dim there, and if the current warden caught wind of what she was doing when she was meant to be tidying up the space after moving the morgue out to Bavan, she'd suffer a lot worse than amateur surgery. Her wings are tucked close and hanging in a way that protects her freshly-stitched wound more than anything, now that she doesn't have to worry about gravity taking away the sheet she's wrapped around herself. At least her room in the Arcade isn't as loud as her old one.

She opens her eyes -- on both sides of her head, as she's laying on her side and doesn't quite remember where -- where...? Ah. Right. She'd asked Donnie to stay. That's good. Ugh, she feels sick. It's hard to tell if more pain meds or less would have been the better way to go.]

Donatello? I need to be distracted.

[The whole situation was, something, and part of Donnie is glad for slime brain making it harder to remember certain parts of what they just did. Also the fact that Ray is a naphil is a bit unnerving, but he's trying to not focus on that as he stays by her bedside.

So when Ray opens her eyes and asks him to distract her, he just tries to think of something he can talk about that isn't what they just did.]

Oh, uhm... Well, I can tell you about my progress on Leo's new arm? It's kind of been stalled because of, slime. But I have blueprints and ideas I just need the materials.

[After their last argument after his call-out post about Donnie, Leo had been trying to just... accept Donnie ignoring him. Inevitably, he does message his twin.]

[After the argument, the few days of just ignoring Leo, and a conversation with Bucky. Donnie had taken to throwing himself into some work, still working out kinks in his design for Leo's arm and a second project which he knows he's going to have to outsource, so it takes a while before he actually even sees Leo's message.

Part of him considers leaving it on read and just not replying, that part of him loses out to the part of him that really kind of misses Leo but...]

Why does it matter to you what I do?

So I'm putting off the ocean again.

[Most would take this and probably correctly say, 'didn't realize that was a thing'. Donatello, however, has of course seen for himself exactly why the ocean is normally not a great place to go. Maybe he can even understand the reason Emporio moved there anyway. Exposure therapy, or something. And eventually his 'mer-brain' will probably get really irritated about not swimming in the big open sea.

[Perhaps it's good timing, but Donnie is in the kitchen when Sherlock shows up, getting himself a glass of water as well? He's been crying and doing his best to hide it from his brother and Bucky, which means he's been holed up in his bedroom ever since the conversation with Ray he has over the network.

So when the other manticore comes in via the balcony, Donnie pays it no mind that is until Sherlock speaks up asking for himself and Leo. Then he's turning his attention to Sherlock, glass in one hand and very minuscule signs of him being upset on his face.]

If you want Bucky I think he's in his room.

Inside of the envelope is a note, handwritten in neat script:

Please forgive the generic nature of this gift, but I have heard that you are quite fond of pizza, so I hope that you enjoy it!

Wrapped within the note, Donatello will find a certificate to the New York style pizza restaurant beside the 38-8 apartments. It's written out for an amount that should cover at least two good pizza parties worth of pies, with no expiration date.]
