I banged the hell out of my knee but it's fine.

[She says even though really her knee is throbbing already.]

Yeah, guess we can just consider my boots lost and gone forever. Oh well.
I appreciate you coming out to look with me though.

[She looks at his face and then winces.]

Uh...you should probably get some ice on yer face soon. C'mon, grab onto my waist and I can fly us back to my place.

Okay... and yeah, it's unfortunate. But hey maybe someone who needs them found them?

[Let's put a positive spin on the whole thing, even if it means missing boots remain missing.

And yeah, his face is starting to swell up a little.]

Oh I can fly myself... [Or he would, but there is an unpleasant sound from his battle shell. Looks like he's unable to get it to go into flight mode, as he frowns.]

Or not.

Yeah, let's hope so.

[She says with a smile because it does help to think that someone who needs them more than her has found them.]

It probably got banged up in the fight. I'm sure Mr. Lynch has some tools you can use to fix it back at our place.

[He sighs, as much as he doesn't want to have to fix it with tools that aren't his own he just might have to.]

Okay well, let's go then.

[This is going to be awkward, but hey she said to hold onto her waist so he's going to do that unless she changes her mind.]

[She feels herself wanting to blush when he wraps his hands around her waist but somehow manages to keep it at bay by concentrating on her powers, throwing up a gravity bubble around them and lifting them up and off the ground.

She then speeds the little bubble towards the apartment building that Mr. Lynch owns, the sensation probably a little different compared to when Donnie flies on his own. It's eerily smooth and there's a feeling of being suspended in space.]

[It most certainly is different from what he's used to, for sure. If he had to compare it to something, he'd say it makes him think of floating in water.

Anyway, he'll keep a good hold on to her since he doesn't want to fall and hopes it's not too stressful for her to do this.]

[It's not stressful for her, Roxy has carried a lot of her team mates in bubbles like these before, it's just interesting to do it with Donnie now. Mostly because for some reason she is very aware of his hold on her and the feeling of him being so close, so much that when she touches them down on the rooftop she feels a little light headed.]

[She says, hoping to god she isn't blushing, and motions for him to follow her to a service elevator that scans her eye quickly before taking them down a few floors.]

[He stumbles a little once they land, not used to the change from gravity bubble to solid ground.

He'll nod at her words and just follow her wordlessly into the elevator, remaining quiet the whole ride down the few floors.]

[The elevator dings and opens up on a large apartment that takes up the entire floor, Roxy exits and starts to holler out to see if any of the other members of Gen13 are home or not.]

Helloooooooooo, guys? Anyone home?

[They are greeted with silence and Roxy shrugs.]

Guess they're all out, c'mon. Kitchen is this way.

[With the fact that they seem to be alone, he'll pull his hood down and yeah... His face is really looking bad in the better light of being indoors.

And he is looking impressed at the apartment, he's only been in like two others and they most certainly weren't the kind that takes up a whole floor.]

Ah, right... The ice.

[And he'll follow her to the kitchen.]

[With the lights on she sees how bad his face is and her eyes widen and she basically shoves him onto one of the bar stools that are sitting at the large kitchen island.]

Ohhh Donnie, your poor face. [She says as she hurriedly gets the ice pack out of the freezer and wraps it in a clean cloth, coming over to him and gently pressing it against the area that is swelling up.]

[He is shoved into a seat, without a fuss from him. And really his mask covers up the worst of it.]

It's fine, I've had worse done to me. [His tone is light, which compared to say... Fighting for three days straight? Or falling through the sky and landing on Staten Island? A little bruised-up face is nothing.]

Yeah but it's never fun.

[She counters and her good eye flickers to his for a moment before going back to look at his injured areas.]

Is that a little better? I can get you some Advil or somethin if yer in pain.

Yeah, yeah.

[He thinks it could be a lot worse, so of course he's going to underplay it.]

I'm good, I don't need any pills.

Okay, if you change your mind let me know.

[She says and then looks down at his body.]

Do you need a second ice pack for anywhere else? Ribs?

[He doubts he'll need it, which he may regret later, but that's for future Donnie to worry about!]

Nope, my shell took most of the hits and my plastron is pretty sturdy.

[As he says this, he'll bring a hand up to tap himself on his chest area... Don't mind the slight wince from him as he does that.]

See, I'm fine.

[She catches that wince and frowns.]

Uh-huhn. Bullshit.

[She takes his hand and makes him hold the ice pack to his face while she goes into the freezer to get another ice pack. She then moves closer so she can place it against the area he just tapped.]

[He sighs, and he'll hold the ice pack up to his face as she goes and does that.

Although when she gets closer to press the ice pack to his chest he can't help but start to blush a little at the closeness.]

At least nothing is broken!

[Because he felt like he needed to say something.]

Thank god! Because I suck at resetting bones.

[She says and then looks up at him, catching his blush which makes her blink and suddenly start blushing as well.]

Urm.

Yeah, I know how but uh...

[This is awkward, he's going to bring his free hand up to just... Take the ice pack she's holding to his chest so she doesn't have to do that anymore.]

You're uhm... Close.

Right. Sorry.

[She says and lets go, taking a step back and turning her red face away from his. She feels stupid and awkward all of a sudden.]

It's okay, you're only helping.

[He relaxes a little now, holding two ice packs one to his face and the other to his chest, so he probably looks ridiculous.]

[If he looks ridiculous then so does she, they're both sporting bruises and her eye is still mostly swollen shut.]

You wanna go sit on the couch or something while you ice yourself?

[She should really do something about her eye, too.]

... Sure, it's probably nicer than this.

[As he stands up, he's going to hold out one of the ice packs to her.]

You should really use one of these for yourself, by the way.

Yeah, you're right.

[She muses and then smiles, turning back to go into the freezer where she pulls out a container of ice cream. She gets two spoons and another cloth and motions for him to follow her.]

This way we can ice our bumps and eat a treat.
